Our Story

Our Story

Kalgi was born from our shared love for traditional Indian jewellery — pieces that feel festive, timeless, and seek to complete a celebration.

What started as a small idea three years ago has now become a dream we are rebuilding with even more passion.

— Krupa & Dhwani

The freedom to wear beautifully.

Traditional Indian jewellery is extraordinary — but it often sits in a locker, saved for "one day." We built Kalgi for the in-between celebrations: the mehendis, the haldis, the office Diwali parties, the surprise family dinners.

Every piece is handcrafted in Ahmedabad, anti-tarnish finished, and priced so you can style freely — starting from ₹499.

The Women Behind Kalgi

Meet the Founders

Krupa

Co-Founder & The Creative Mind Behind

I believe jewellery is more than an accessory. It holds emotion, memory, and meaning. It carries tradition in its soul and intention in its making.

For Krupa, it has always been about the details — the quiet beauty that often goes unnoticed, the careful craftsmanship that takes time, and the love poured into every single creation. Rooted in where she comes from, yet inspired by the present, she's building Kalgi gently and thoughtfully — one design at a time.

Dhwani

Co-Founder & The Heart Behind the Vision

For me, jewellery has never been just an accessory. It's a feeling. A quiet confidence. An emotion that completes a moment.

Dhwani has always believed that elegance doesn't need to be loud — it speaks softly, but it stays with you. From moodboards to final pieces, she loves styling stories through jewellery — helping brides find something that doesn't just match their outfit, but matches their energy. Kalgi is a dream she's growing with intention, purpose, and a whole lot of heart.
